Cast the chart. Read the windows.

Enter the birth details and Muhūrta computes the sidereal chart in your browser — planetary positions, lagna, Vimśottarī daśā, and a 36-month timing map. Nothing is uploaded; the astronomy runs on this page.

Backtest your own life

Enter up to six moments you've already lived through — Muhūrta recomputes what your chart's windows looked like on that real date, the same rule-set as the map above, run backward instead of forward. Judge the method against your own history before you trust it with your future.

Retrospective only — this shows what the v0.1 rule-set would have read on that date, not whether it caused or predicted anything. Transit positions are real ephemeris for the date you enter; daśā and antardaśā are recomputed for that date from your birth Moon.

Elect a date

Give Muhūrta a date range and an occasion. It scans every day in the range — real tithi, nakṣatra, and weekday from the sky that day — and ranks the classically strongest ones. Cast your chart above first and the ranking also folds in your own transits and daśā for that occasion, not just the generic pañcāṅga.

v0.1 pañcāṅga rule-set: tithi (Riktā avoided; amāvasyā and pūrṇimā called out), a simplified fierce/fixed nakṣatra grouping, and the weekday's classical ruler — combined with your chart's own transit + daśā reading for the matching life area, where the occasion has one. Known simplifications, stated honestly rather than faked: no yoga or karaṇa yet, no time-of-day refinement (which hour within the day — hora, rāhu kālam), and no two-chart guna-matching for weddings. For reflection and cultural practice, not a substitute for a qualified priest or astrologer on a high-stakes date.

Muhūrta-patra — your moment card

Pick a date from Elect a Date above — or enter one by hand — and lay it out as a shareable card: date, weekday, tithi, and nakṣatra. Download it as an image, print it to PDF, or add it straight to your calendar.

v0.1: shows the date, weekday, tithi, and nakṣatra — not yet a specific muhūrta hour within the day (that time-of-day refinement isn't built). One theme, English only, for now; a hosted shareable link and additional themes/languages are a future deepening, noted here rather than faked.
