Welcome to Muhūrta. Using muhurtatime.com means agreeing to these terms — written in plain language, because that is how the rest of the site talks too.

What Muhūrta is — and is not

Muhūrta offers traditional Vedic timing analysis for reflection and cultural practice. It computes charts and timing windows using classical methods (sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanāṁśa, Vimśottarī daśā). It is not a prediction service and makes no guarantee about any outcome. It is not — and must not be used as a substitute for — professional advice of any kind: medical, legal, financial, psychological, or otherwise. Decisions you make remain entirely yours.

Prototype status

Muhūrta is an early product. Calculations use documented approximations (disclosed on the instrument pages), features may change, and availability is not guaranteed. We publish our methodology precisely so you can judge it for yourself.

Your account

• You are responsible for your login credentials and for the accuracy of details you save.
• One account per person; accounts are for individuals 18 or older.
• You may request deletion of your account at any time via the contact page.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, or probe the service; do not use it to harass anyone or to make decisions about another person without their knowledge where the law requires consent; do not scrape or resell the service.

Fees

The chart, one-area timing map, and dashboard are currently free. If paid plans launch, their terms and prices will be stated clearly before any payment, with no hidden charges — and never remedies, rituals, or fear-based upselling.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muhūrta is provided "as is", and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on timing analysis, nor for indirect or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (currently: nothing).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the effective date above will change, and account holders will see a notice on their dashboard.
